Sulle nostre vene
Sorgente di Vita
ed un Raggio di Luce
In Roggi's works, Water, conceived in a classical sense as the Source of Life, is portrayed as a wave with soft and sinuous lines that recalls motherhood and which envelops the figures by cradling them. Man and woman - the two halves which, uniting together, constitute the perfect unity and the harmony of the generation - rush towards the ether, driven by that incessant search for elevation typical of the art of the Tuscan Maestro.
The bronze artworks that depict the subject of Water are also distinguished by the strong chromatic effect resulting from the patina fixed with fire; the wide range of colours and shades that the artist is able to obtain, the brilliance of the colours, contribute to make this material even more alive.
